Founded on the belief that everyone has the potential to lead, Leader in Me is a comprehensive PK–12 framework that nurtures student leadership, fosters a culture of trust, and boosts academic success. This proven approach empowers students, educators, and families with essential leadership and life skills, preparing them to excel.

Leader in Me helps educators design lasting solutions to common challenges through the lens of students’ strengths and leadership. Leader in Me approaches every goal or initiative with a proven comprehensive model that transforms paradigms, improves behavior, and achieves measurable results. By integrating The 4 Disciplines of Execution® (4DX®), educators can use its results-driven formula to address a variety of challenges in the areas of leadership, culture, and academics.

Haw Creek began our Leader in Me Journey in 2023 with staff learning about the paradigms and habits through direct learning and book studies on campus. In 2024-2025, Haw Creek began teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to all students through morning meetings. We align the 7 Habits to our PBIS Expectations as they teach the skills students need to master the outcomes we expect. In 2025-2026, we look forward to connecting our parents and community with our leadership journey as we prepare our students for success not only in the classroom, but in our community and the world!
